Default Hero Profession Purity Lost

Was playing around with the drop down menu in my hero skills window and changed Gwens profession from Mesmer to Mesmer/Rit which is not a bad combo but I don't see a way how to get her back to pure Mesmer.

Is there a way to undo what I done?

I admit that it's not as neat-looking to have that secondary tacked on, but as has been said, there's no real reason for her to have only one profession, and I don't think you can change it back anyway.

There is no need to (you can't). Just don't put any points into Ritualist attributes or take any Rit skills. There is no difference.

It itches my eyes to see 9 attribute columns but you'll just have to live with it. It makes no difference whether your Gwen is a Mesmer or Mesmer/Ritualist.

Mehhhh......you're right gang.

I'll guess I'll just have to suck it up and live with the consequences of my curiosity and impulsive behavior. (yeah, the itchy eyes too...)

Thanks.

Just switch it to Assassin. Anything /A looks cooler than the profession by itself. If it's on an Assassin, /W looks coolest.

People will shower you with praise for looking so cool.

I don't see the reason why you shouldn't be able to choose to go to one profession. Picking a secondary profession is a choice, making a build is a choice.. choosing to drop your secondary through a simple drop down menu is a choice (that you would want) and is the most simple implementation they could make but they didn't.

There's not really much in the way of consequences. If you don't use the secondary, it won't affect anything.

But here's a possibility I just thought of (I'll try it later to see if it works). Maybe, if you have another character with a Gwen with no secondary, you could save that Gwen's build and load it into the other Gwen?

In PvE, it isn't a choice. You are required to select a second class before you can advance in the story.

For heroes, you may not use a secondary skill, but that doesn't matter. But since Mesmer has no hard rez, it may be good to keep /Rt or /Mo to have a rez other than the signet.
